The app for a tournament or league event
A tournament weekend is a schedule that changes every hour across six fields, and a thousand people who need to know about the change within five minutes. That is the whole problem.
A planning figure counting players, coaches, officials and travelling family across a weekend. Past 1,000 activated, the cost is fixed.
Six fields and a schedule that will not hold
A tournament app carries the fixture schedule, the venue information, the officials and team contacts, and the announcements when a game moves. event67 provides those under the organisation's own brand, with push notifications that deep-link to the changed fixture. It does not keep scores, standings or brackets, so a scoring platform runs alongside it.
A schedule that changes and is still correct
Rain delays, forfeits, a field closing. Every one of those reshuffles the day. The live schedule updates on every device from one edit in the console, and a push announcement deep-links to the fixture that moved. Printed schedules taped to a fence are wrong by the second hour.
Everyone in one directory
Coaches, team managers, officials and organisers all need to reach each other and currently do it through a stack of group chats. A searchable directory with profiles, plus QR connections made in person at the check-in tent, replaces that with something that survives the weekend.
A check-in that copes with people arriving all weekend
QR check-in with a running arrivals count, and a repeat scan returns already checked in rather than an error. For a tournament where participants come and go across three days, that behaviour is the difference between a tool and an obstacle.
Photographs the clubs will actually use
The shared album gathers a weekend's photography into one place with a full-screen viewer. For youth sport, set moderation to moderated or admin-only, and note that a reported photo auto-hides.
A tournament weekend, delay by delay
Entries close
Import teams, coaches and officials
Entries and fees happen in your registration tool, because event67 does not take payments. Import the resulting list as CSV and send branded invites with per-recipient delivery tracking.
Uses the branded app and branded invites with delivery tracking.
The night before
Publish the fixture schedule
Fields as rooms, divisions as tracks, each fixture with its time and location. Participants star their own team's games and their day pins to the top of the screen.
Uses the fixture schedule.
Day one, first delay
Move the game, tell everyone
Edit the fixture, push an announcement that deep-links to it. On a six-field site this is the only communication channel that works, and it is the reason a tournament buys an app at all.
Uses push announcements.
Through the weekend
The tent, and the count
Check-in at the tent as teams arrive. Live arrivals give the organiser a real figure for catering, parking and marshals rather than an estimate from the entry list.
Uses check-in.
After
Photos, feedback and the sponsor report
The album goes to the clubs. Feedback tells you which venue worked. Sponsor pages carried the local businesses that funded the weekend, and engagement analytics give you a number to show them next year.
Uses the shared album and sponsor pages.
Setting up a tournament app
Five steps. The first one determines whether this is the right tool at all.
Confirm where scoring lives
Your scoring or league platform keeps results and standings. event67 keeps the schedule and the communications. Decide this before anyone expects a bracket in the app.
Create the event across the whole weekend
So the schedule reads as a tournament rather than as separate days.
Model fields as rooms and divisions as tracks
This is what lets a parent filter to just their child's division.
Import participants and invite
Players, coaches, officials and, where appropriate, travelling family. Delivery tracked per recipient.
Set photo moderation before day one
For youth sport, moderated or admin-only. Decide it in advance, not after the first upload.
What a 1,400-participant tournament costs
Fourteen hundred participants activate. Fifty are free, the price stops climbing at a thousand, so the last four hundred cost nothing. A tournament that grows next year does not grow this line.
- activated attendees
- 1,400activated attendees
- billable, after the first 50 are free
- 950billable, after the first 50 are free
- for the whole event, at $5.00 each
- $4,750for the whole event, at $5.00 each
Participants on the entry list who never open the app are never billed.
The scoring side, which event67 does not do
This is the boundary that decides the evaluation. An event app and a tournament management platform are different products.
- No scores, results, standings or league tables.
- No brackets, draws or fixture generation. You bring the fixture list; the app displays and updates it.
- No player registration, eligibility checking or team rosters as records.
- No streaming of games.
- No ticketing, entry fees or payments.
- No leaderboards or gamification of any kind.

What it costs
- Free up to 50
- activated attendees, on one live event
- $5
- per activated attendee beyond 50
- $4,750
- the most one event can ever cost, whatever happens past 1,000
Activated means the person claimed their invite and opened the app. Not when you import them, not when the invite is delivered, and not if they register and stay home.
Questions people actually ask
Does the app keep scores and standings?
No. There are no scores, results, standings, brackets or league tables. event67 displays a fixture schedule you maintain and pushes the changes to it. Run scoring in your league or tournament platform.
How quickly does a schedule change reach people?
Editing the fixture in the console updates every device. Pairing that with a push announcement that deep-links to the fixture is the pattern that actually moves people, and it is a matter of seconds rather than minutes.
Is it appropriate for youth sport?
With care. Set photo moderation to moderated or admin-only before the event starts, and note that a reported photo auto-hides automatically. There is no separate child-account model, so anyone in the directory is a full attendee, and that should shape who you invite.
What does it cost for a 5,000-person tournament?
The same as one with 1,000 activated participants. The per-event price stops at 1,000, so the remaining 4,000 cost nothing at all.
Can local sponsors be featured?
Yes, as tier-ordered sponsor pages with logos, descriptions and websites, and attached to specific sessions. There is no lead capture, so sponsorship should be sold as visibility.

The features this leans on
When the game moves, so does the schedule
One edit, every phone updated, and a push that opens on the fixture that changed.
