Request deletion
Email us from the address you use to sign in, so we can verify the request is yours.
If you can only write from a different address, say so and we will verify another way.
What gets deleted
Deleting your attendee record removes it and everything the database attaches to it automatically:
- Your attendee record and profile: name, job title, company, photo, bio, interests, and links
- Your QR code and every connection you sent, received, or accepted
- Starred sessions and workshop RSVPs
- Your Apple Wallet pass registration and any Live Activity registration
Some of what you post lives in separate stores that the database cannot reach on its own, so we remove it by hand as part of the same request. We are telling you this because a page that implies one automatic sweep would be describing something we have not built:
- Questions you asked in live Q&A, and the votes you cast
- Poll responses and session reactions
- Photos you uploaded to event albums, and the stored image files
- Feedback, suggestions, and ratings you submitted
- Your usage telemetry rows and your email delivery records
- Push notification tokens for your devices
If your organizer has already run the end-of-event archive, a copy of the Q&A, polls and photo index for that event exists in our archive tables. Tell us and we will remove your rows from it too.
What we keep, and why
| Counts already reported | Figures we have already computed and shown to your organizer — an attendance count, a session total — stay as figures. They are numbers, not rows about you, and there is nothing in them to link back. |
|---|---|
| Server logs | Ordinary request logs held by our hosting provider, kept for as long as that provider retains them. We do not go through them to reconstruct a deleted account. |
| Records we are legally required to retain | Where a law obliges us to keep something, we keep only that, for only as long as required. |
We do not claim that deleted data is anonymized rather than removed, and we do not publish a backup retention window. Our database provider may hold routine point-in-time snapshots; we do not restore them to bring back deleted data.
Your event organizer's own records
Your organizer invited you and holds their own attendee list, outside the app. Deleting your account here removes you from our systems but does not delete their records. To have those removed, contact your organizer directly.
How long it takes
We confirm by email and complete deletion within 30 days of a verified request, and usually much sooner. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. If you sign in again afterwards, you will start over with a fresh, empty profile.
Is there a button in the app?
Not for attendees. There is no in-app account deletion in the mobile app today, which is why this page exists and why the request runs by email. Organizers who signed up for a console account can delete it from the account menu at admin.event67.com; that removes their sign-in and their organization membership, and we clear the remaining record by hand.
Just want to clear your profile?
If you would rather stay in the event but show less, open the app → Me → Edit profile, clear the fields you don't want visible, and save. You can also turn off Visible in attendee list there. That keeps your account and your access to the event.
