The conference app for sports organizations

A governing body runs two kinds of event that look nothing alike: tournaments where the schedule changes hourly across six fields, and conferences where two hundred coaches sit in rooms. Both are schedule problems, which is why one app can do both.

A planning figure counting players, coaches, officials and travelling family. Past 1,000 activated the price stops moving.

Two kinds of event that look nothing alike

A sports organization event app carries the events a league, club or governing body runs off the pitch as well as on it: tournament weekends, coaching conferences and licence courses, annual general meetings, and awards nights. event67 provides the schedule, announcements, directory, capacity control and analytics under the organisation's own brand. It keeps no scores, standings, brackets or player registrations.

Tournament weekends

Fields as rooms, divisions as tracks, fixtures as timed sessions. A rain delay reshuffles the day, and one edit plus a push announcement that deep-links to the moved fixture is the only communication channel that works across a six-field site. Check-in at the tent gives a live arrivals count for catering, parking and marshals.

Coaching conferences and licence courses

Practical sessions with hard capacity, enforced on the server with automatic waitlist promotion, and per-session feedback collected in the room. The gap is important here: there is no credit or licence tracking and no certificates, so a licence course's record of attainment has to live in your own system.

The AGM and council meetings

The order of business as timed items with papers, upvoted questions from clubs and a logged moderation trail. Votes have to happen elsewhere, because there is no balloting, proxies or election management, and in a governing body that is a hard boundary rather than an inconvenience.

Awards nights and end-of-season events

The running order with categories and sponsors, arrivals at the door, reactions during the announcements, and the shared album for clubs the next morning. Local sponsors appear as tier-ordered pages, which is usually what a community sponsorship package actually is.

Club and regional events across the year

Each is its own event with its own free fifty activated attendees, so most club-level gatherings cost nothing. Per-event moderator roles let a club volunteer run their own event without the governing body's account.

Officials, volunteers and the people who make a weekend work

The population a governing body most often fails to reach is not its players, it is the referees, marshals, first-aiders and parent volunteers who make a fixture happen. They are invited exactly like anyone else, they see the same schedule filtered to their own assignments, and they get the push when a game moves. For an office that currently reaches officials through a phone tree and three group chats, this is usually the change that pays for the tool, well before anything the players notice.

What changes off the pitch

The schedule stops being a laminated sheet

One edit in the console updates every phone. On a tournament weekend this is the entire value proposition and everything else is secondary.

Coaches and officials can find each other

A searchable directory plus QR connections replaces the stack of group chats a governing body currently uses to reach its officials.

Sponsors get something checkable

Tier-ordered pages with logos and links, plus engagement analytics that give a local sponsor a number rather than an assurance.

Growth does not raise the bill

The per-event price stops rising at a thousand activated participants, so a tournament that doubles does not double this line.

Clubs stop asking the governing body for the schedule

The single largest support load on a small governing body during a tournament is answering where and when. A live schedule that clubs can filter to their own division, plus push announcements when a fixture moves, removes most of that traffic. The office stops relaying and starts publishing, which is the difference between a weekend that needs three staff on phones and one that needs one.

Everything to do with competition, which event67 does not do

An event app and a league or tournament management platform are different products. If you are looking for the second one, this is not it.

  • No scores, results, standings or league tables.
  • No brackets, draws or fixture generation. You bring the fixture list; the app displays and updates it.
  • No player registration, eligibility checking, transfers or team rosters as records.
  • No licence, credit or certificate tracking for coaching courses.
  • No streaming of games or sessions.
  • No ticketing, entry fees or payments.
  • No leaderboards, points or gamification of any kind.
  • No integration with your league management system. The attendee list is a CSV import.
  • No voting or balloting for an AGM.

What a 1,600-participant tournament costs

Sixteen hundred participants activate. Fifty are free and the price stops climbing at a thousand, so six hundred of them cost nothing at all.

Safeguarding, roles and records

The controls that matter most where young participants and volunteers are involved.

ControlWhat exists
Photo moderationOpen, moderated or admin-only per event. A reported photo auto-hides pending review. For youth sport, set this before day one.
Attendee accountsThere is no separate child or minor account type. Everyone in the directory is a full attendee, which should shape the invite list.
RolesFour levels: super admin, organization admin, moderator and attendee. A club volunteer can be scoped to one event.
AuditTeam chat and billing carry audit trails. Moderation actions are not logged.
Profile controlEach attendee chooses what appears on their own profile.
IndexingEvent sites are noindex and nofollow. There is no public listing of your events.

Questions people actually ask

Does it keep scores and standings?

No. There are no scores, results, standings, brackets or league tables. event67 displays a fixture schedule that you maintain and pushes the changes to it. Scoring stays in your league or tournament platform.

Can we register players through it?

No. There is no player registration, eligibility checking or payment collection. Registration runs in your existing system and you import the participant list as a CSV.

Is it appropriate for youth sport?

With deliberate configuration. Set photo moderation to moderated or admin-only before the first day, and note that a reported photo auto-hides. There is no minor account type, so every attendee in the directory is a full attendee and your invite list should reflect that.

Does it track coaching licence credits?

No. There is no credit tracking, attendance-duration verification or certificate generation. A licence course gets the schedule, capacity control and feedback; the record of attainment lives in your own system.

Can clubs vote at the AGM?

No. There is no balloting, no proxies and no election management. Live polls read the sense of the room and must be described that way to member clubs.

What does a large tournament cost?

The per-event price stops rising at a thousand activated participants, so a tournament of five thousand costs the same as one of a thousand. Entrants who never open the app are not billed.

Can parents and spectators use it too?

They can, as invited attendees like anyone else, which is how most organisers handle travelling family. Be deliberate about it: everyone in the directory is a full attendee with a profile, and there is no separate spectator or minor account type, so the invite list is the access control.

What does a small club event cost?

Nothing under fifty activated attendees, which covers the great majority of club-level gatherings, presentation evenings and coaching sessions. The tournament and the AGM are the events that carry cost, and both sit under the same per-event ceiling.

Can we reach officials separately from clubs?

Not through separate channels: announcements go to everyone in the event. What you can do is give officials their own track in the schedule so their assignments are the only thing pinned to their day, and set up a separate event for an officials' briefing where only officials are invited. Most governing bodies end up doing the second one.
