Forty workshops across three days on a borrowed campus, planned by volunteers. Retreats and camps

Photo moderation runs open, moderated or admin-only, and a reported photo auto-hides. For a youth gathering, decide that posture before the event opens rather than after the first upload. There is no separate child account model, so everyone in the directory is a full attendee and that should shape the invite list.
Regional and congregational meetings

Activated means the person claimed their invite and opened the app. Not when you import them, not when the invite is delivered, and not if they register and stay home.

Can we collect the offering or registration fee?
No. event67 processes no money at all. There is no giving, no donations, no ticketing and no paid forms. Registration and fees run in your existing tool, and you import the confirmed list as a CSV.
Does it replace our church management system?
No, and it should not be evaluated as though it might. There are no membership records, no volunteer rostering and no children's check-in. event67 covers a gathering: its programme, its workshops, its announcements and its photographs.
Is it safe for a youth event?
With deliberate configuration. Set photo and Q&A moderation to moderated or admin-only before the event opens, and note that a reported photo auto-hides. There is no separate minor account type, so every attendee in the directory is a full attendee, and your invite list should reflect that.
Can volunteers run it?

Can several congregations share one account?
Yes. The console is multi-tenant with organization admins and per-event moderators, so a diocese, district or network runs its own gatherings alongside each congregation's. Each event carries its own free fifty activated attendees, which for congregational events usually means no cost.
What about attendees who will not install an app?
Every event has a web version carrying the same programme, sessions and announcements, so nobody is excluded. Push notifications and the Wallet pass are the two things that need the installed app, which is why most organisers encourage installation at registration rather than mid-convention.
Do speakers upload their own bios and slides?
No. There is no speaker portal, no submission form and no file collection. A volunteer gathers bios and photographs however you do it now, usually by email, and enters them in the console. It is worth naming an owner for that job early, because on a large programme it is the task that slips.
