The app for a product launch event

A launch event is one hour of stage time surrounded by six hours of logistics, and it is judged entirely on what the room felt during that hour. The app is how you find out, while there is still time to use it.

A planning figure: press, partners, customers and staff in one room, which is the usual composition of a launch day.

One hour that everything else serves

A product launch app carries the day's schedule, the demo stations, the press and partner lists, and the live reaction from the room during the keynote. event67 runs it under the launching brand's own name, gives you polls and reactions during the announcement, and collects the photographs afterwards. It does not handle press accreditation, embargo distribution or streaming.

A room made of four different audiences

Press, partners, customers and internal staff want different things from the same day. Tracks let the afternoon split into a press briefing, a partner session and a customer demo hour, while the morning keynote stays shared. Each guest's own agenda pins to the top of their screen.

The reaction, measured in the moment

Reactions stream across the room during the announcement, and a poll immediately after it gives product marketing a number from exactly the audience it needs one from. Reading a real result on stage is a different move from asserting that the room loved it.

Demo stations that people can find

Hands-on stations are the part guests remember. Enter them as sessions with rooms and hosts, with RSVP capacity where a station can only take eight people at a time and a waitlist that promotes automatically.

The photographs, in one place, quickly

A launch generates photography that a communications team needs within hours, not days. The shared album collects guest photographs alongside your own, with moderation set to admin-only if brand control matters more than volume.

A launch day, front to back

  1. Invitation

    Four lists, one import

Press, partners, customers and staff usually live in four different places. Consolidate to one CSV, import, and send branded invites with per-recipient delivery tracking so a bounced invite to a key journalist is caught by a person.

Uses the branded app and branded invites with delivery tracking.

  2. Doors

    Arrival without a clipboard

QR check-in with a live arrivals count, so the stage manager knows whether to hold the start. Wallet passes mean a guest does not need to find an email on a phone in a dark foyer.

    Uses check-in and Wallet passes.

  3. The keynote

    Reactions, then one poll

Reactions run through the announcement. One poll immediately afterwards, written in advance, asking the single question your product team most wants answered. Polls invented on stage are leading questions.

    Uses polls and reactions.

  4. The afternoon

    Briefings, demos and questions

Q&A opens on the press briefing with upvoting and moderation, which produces a better session than a queue at a microphone and gives communications a written record of every question asked.

    Uses moderated Q&A.

  5. That evening

    The assets and the read-out

The album is available immediately. Engagement analytics show who came, what they attended and how the poll landed, which is the read-out a launch team writes up the same night.

Uses the shared album and analytics.

Preparing a launch app

Five steps, and the poll in step four should be written before anyone is nervous.

  1. Create the event and theme it to the product

Not to the company. Guests recognise the product's identity, and the theme flows through every screen.

  2. Split the day into tracks

Press, partner, customer. The shared morning stays untracked; the afternoon splits.

  3. Enter demo stations as capacity-limited sessions

Server-enforced RSVPs with waitlist promotion, sized to what the station can genuinely host.

  4. Write the poll in advance

One question, written when nobody is under stage lights. Read the result out loud.

  5. Set the photo posture

Admin-only for a tightly controlled brand moment, moderated for most launches. A reported photo auto-hides either way.

What a 380-guest launch costs

Three hundred and eighty guests activate. Fifty are free and the rest are billable once for the day. Against a stage build and a catering bill, the app is not the line anyone negotiates.

Guests on the invite list who do not attend never activate and never appear on the bill.

What a launch team will need elsewhere

Launch days lean on press infrastructure that event67 does not touch.

  • No press accreditation workflow, no embargo distribution and no press kit hosting.
  • No live streaming. A launch broadcast to a remote audience runs on a video platform; event67 covers the room.
  • No ticketing or registration payments.
  • No lead capture from demo stations. QR connections are attendee to attendee and do not sync anywhere.

Questions people actually ask

Can we stream the keynote through the app?

No. event67 does not stream video. Run the broadcast on your existing platform. The app carries the agenda, the reactions, the polls and the Q&A, for the room and for anyone following along elsewhere.

How do we keep press and customers from seeing each other's sessions?

Tracks separate the afternoon, and each guest's personal agenda shows their own path. It is a usability separation rather than an access control: the full schedule remains browsable, so anything genuinely confidential should not be in the schedule at all.

Can guests share photos publicly?

The album lives inside your event, not on a public feed. You choose whether photo submission is admin-only, moderated or open, and a photo auto-hides once it is reported.

What is the fastest we can get a launch app live?

The event, theme, agenda and invites are a same-day job in the console. What has an external clock on it is publishing a branded app to the App Store and Google Play, because store review is not under our control. Start that first.

Does the poll result stay private?

Poll results are visible in the app to attendees when you run them live, and stored in the reports archive afterwards. If you want a private read, run the poll and read the result from the console rather than projecting it.
