event67 vs Personify A2Z Events

The one-sentence difference: event67 is a branded conference companion app with published per-attendee pricing and a ceiling per event, and Personify A2Z Events is trade-show management software built around the exhibitor relationship and bought on a quote.

The line between a show system and an attendee app

Personify A2Z Events (A2Z Events and Personify are trademarks of Personify Corp, now part of Momentive Software) publishes an interactive floor plan and exhibitor management, booth and sponsorship sales with online contracts, payment processing and event financials, conference management and a call for papers, mobile applications and a networking suite, multi-year and multi-event architecture, year-round online event communities, registration and ticketing, mobile check-in, and reporting and business intelligence (accessed 3 September 2026). event67 publishes a branded attendee app on iOS, Android and web, and an organiser console covering the programme, invites, moderation, communications and live analytics.

The two lists intersect at one point: what a delegate does on their phone during the event. Everything on either side of that is exclusive to one product. That is unusual for a comparison page, and it is why this one spends as much space on exclusions as on capabilities.

The buyer differs too, and it shows in how each product is sold. A2Z Events is bought by an association or an independent show organiser whose commercial model is selling floor space, with the platform tracking the booths, the contracts and the money attached to them; Personify's own pages describe customers from startups up to Gold 100 tradeshow scale, and route buyers to a demo rather than to a price (accessed 3 September 2026). event67 is bought self-serve by whoever is producing the programme, with the rate per activated attendee and the ceiling on a single event printed on a page, a free tier covering one live event up to fifty activated attendees, and no card required to start.

One more structural difference is worth naming. Personify's homepage states that it is now part of Momentive Software, and its product line sits beside association management, membership and community tooling (accessed 3 September 2026). That ecosystem is a genuine reason to consolidate, and consolidation is an argument event67 cannot answer, because we are one product doing one job by design. If you are optimising for the fewest suppliers, the ecosystem wins that on its own terms.

Side by side, with a source on every row

Everything in the Personify A2Z Events column comes from a page we loaded ourselves. The superscript on a cell is its source: it links to that page and the date it was loaded, in the Sources section below. Nothing is inferred, and a row we could not source is removed rather than softened. Personify A2Z Events may change its pricing at any time; check Personify A2Z Events's pricing page for current figures.

event67 meters activated attendees on a single event. Personify A2Z Events's published model is quote-based — not published. The two are not the same unit, so the figures are not directly comparable.

Every event67 figure on this page is generated at build time from event67's own pricing library rather than typed into the page, so the page and the meter cannot disagree. event67 publishes no performance, capacity or throughput measurement on this page, and makes no comparative measurement of any other product.

Personify A2Z Events

No seat field on this side, and no total. Working out what Personify A2Z Events would charge for this room would mean estimating a number they have not published, and an estimate presented as a comparison is exactly the claim we will not make. What follows is only what Personify A2Z Events states itself.

  • As at 3 September 2026, Personify A2Z Events does not publish list pricing and directs buyers to request a quote.

Personify A2Z Events's own site carries the current figures.

Where Personify A2Z Events is the better choice

  • You sell floor space. Interactive floor plans, exhibitor management and booth sales are published A2Z Events capabilities; event67 has none of them.
  • Exhibitor contracts and sponsorship sales need to live in the platform. event67 has no contract workflow and no sales pipeline.
  • You need payment processing and event financials from the same product. event67 takes no payment from attendees and raises no invoices.
  • You run a call for papers. A2Z Events publishes conference management with a call for papers; event67 has no submission workflow and no speaker portal.
  • A recurring show needs multi-year, multi-event architecture that carries forward. event67 models each event on its own.
  • Your association already runs on Momentive Software's membership and community stack, and you want the show inside it (accessed 3 September 2026).

Every item there is a hard exclusion on our side rather than something scheduled. If two or more of them are on your requirement list, the decision is made, and no amount of attendee-app polish should reopen it. We would rather publish that plainly than have it emerge in week three of an implementation.

Where event67 is the better choice

  • The app must carry the association's name in the App Store and Google Play. event67 publishes under the client's own listing.
  • You want a price before a demo. event67's per-attendee rate and per-event ceiling are on the pricing page; Personify publishes no figures and routes to a demo (accessed 3 September 2026).
  • You want to prove it on a real event. event67 is free for one live event up to 50 activated attendees, no card; the Software Advice entry records no free trial and no free version for A2Z Events (accessed 3 September 2026).
  • In-room engagement is the requirement: moderated live Q&A with upvoting, polls from the session screen, reactions, session feedback and a shared photo album with three moderation modes.
  • You want the bill tied to turnout. event67 counts only delegates who claimed an invite and opened the app, and charges 48 hours after the event ends.
  • You need it running in days, built by your own team, with no onboarding engagement and no data migration.

These are statements about what event67 does, sourced to our own product record, next to sourced statements about what the other product publishes. None of them is a judgement about how a show-management system ought to be built; a platform whose job is the exhibit hall is not failing by not being an attendee app.

If you are adding event67, this is the shape of it

For most trade shows this is an addition rather than a switch, because the exhibit-hall system has no substitute in event67. Booth sales, contracts and financials stay put. You export the delegate list, import it by CSV, build sessions, tracks, rooms, speakers and sponsor tiers in the console, set the theme, and send bulk invites with per-recipient delivery tracking. A live meter counts activated delegates from the day the event is published, so the amount accrues in front of you rather than arriving afterwards.

Plan for two frictions. The delegate list on a trade show is assembled from several sources — members, exhibitor staff, speakers, late registrations — and with no integration between the two systems, and no relationship between the two companies, somebody has to own the merge and a top-up import in the final week. And an app under the association's own name is a fresh download for every delegate, so the invite email, the Wallet pass and the signage at registration all have to carry it. Neither is difficult; both are easy to forget until the week of the show.

Questions people actually ask

Are these two products substitutes?

Only on one surface. They overlap on what a delegate does on their phone during the event. They do not overlap on floor plans, booth sales, exhibitor contracts, payment processing, event financials, registration, ticketing or a call for papers, all of which A2Z Events publishes and event67 does not have (accessed 3 September 2026). Organisers who use both keep the show system and add the app.

Which is cheaper?

Unanswerable, and we will not guess. event67's price is published: free to 50 activated attendees, $5 each after that, and one event never exceeds $4,750. As at 3 September 2026, Personify A2Z Events does not publish list pricing and directs buyers to request a quote. The only public figure we found is a third-party directory listing rather than a vendor-published price, which is not the same claim and is not repeated here.

Does event67 have a floor plan for the exhibit hall?

No. There are no interactive floor plans, no hall maps and no wayfinding in event67, and grep across our own codebase confirms it rather than a marketing assumption. Delegates get a schedule, a personal agenda, a directory, QR connections and session-level engagement. If exhibitors expect a searchable booth map inside the app, event67 will not meet that requirement and we would not try to talk you round it.

Can both run at the same event?

Yes, and that is the common pattern. The show system keeps the hall, the contracts and the money; event67 runs the delegate app. There is no integration between them and no partnership of any kind, so the connection is a CSV export and import, and one person needs to own keeping the delegate list and session times in step across the two.

What about check-in at the door?

event67 scans an attendee's QR badge against your guest list, returns "already" rather than an error on a repeat scan, and shows a live arrivals count at the desk and in the console. It does not print badges, drive kiosks or read wristbands, and it has no scanner hardware. On a show that hands out printed badges at registration, event67 is one part of the door operation rather than the whole of it.
