event67 vs Momentus Technologies

The one-sentence difference: event67 is a branded conference companion app with published per-attendee pricing and a per-event ceiling, and Momentus Technologies is enterprise venue and event-operations software bought on a quote by the organisation that runs the building.

Where the two products actually diverge

Most comparison pages open by listing overlapping features. This one opens by admitting there are barely any. Momentus Technologies (Momentus Technologies and Ungerboeck are trademarks of Momentus Technologies) publishes venue booking and space management, sales and CRM for those bookings, event planning and operations, catering and food-and-beverage management, room diagramming, event portals for clients and organisers, ticketing, accounting, reporting and API access, and sustainability tracking, across the Momentus Enterprise, Elite, Ticketing, WeTrack and AI product lines (accessed 3 September 2026). event67 publishes a branded attendee app on iOS, Android and web, plus an organiser console for the programme, invites, moderation, comms and analytics. Line those two lists up and they touch nowhere.

What produces the comparison is a shared noun. Both are described as event software, and both appear in the same procurement conversation about the same conference. But the signature is different: one is bought by the organisation that operates the venue, and the other by the team producing the programme inside it. Those are frequently different organisations, and where they are the same organisation, they are usually different departments with different budgets.

The second divergence is commercial shape. Momentus publishes tier names but no figures: Enterprise in Core, Pro and Premier, Elite in Pro, Premier and Premier Plus, with the quote driven by venue count, annual event volume, workflow scope, integrations and onboarding and data-migration needs, unlimited users included, and no free version or free trial recorded (accessed 3 September 2026). event67 publishes a rate per activated attendee, a ceiling for a single event and a free tier covering one live event up to fifty activated attendees with no card. Those are not two prices for the same thing; they are prices for different things, denominated in different units, and any table that sets them side by side as equivalents is deceiving its reader.

The practical consequence is that for a large share of readers this is not a choice. If you need the building managed, Momentus is the shortlist and this page ends here. If the building is handled and the delegate experience is not, keep reading — that is the only segment where the two genuinely meet.

Side by side, with a source on every row

Everything in the Momentus Technologies column comes from a page we loaded ourselves. The superscript on a cell is its source: it links to that page and the date it was loaded, in the Sources section below. Nothing is inferred, and a row we could not source is removed rather than softened. Momentus Technologies may change its pricing at any time; check Momentus Technologies's pricing page for current figures.

event67 meters activated attendees on a single event. Momentus Technologies's published model is quote-based — not published. The two are not the same unit, so the figures are not directly comparable.

Every event67 figure on this page is generated at build time from event67's own pricing library rather than typed into the page, so the page and the meter cannot disagree. event67 publishes no performance, capacity or throughput measurement on this page, and makes no comparative measurement of any other product.

All third-party names and trademarks are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification only. event67 is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any company named on this page. Comparison details are accurate as at the dates shown.

Momentus Technologies

No seat field on this side, and no total. Working out what Momentus Technologies would charge for this room would mean estimating a number they have not published, and an estimate presented as a comparison is exactly the claim we will not make. What follows is only what Momentus Technologies states itself.

  • As at 3 September 2026, Momentus Technologies does not publish list pricing and directs buyers to request a quote.

Momentus Technologies's own site carries the current figures.

Where Momentus Technologies is the better choice

  • You need space booking and venue management. Momentus publishes both; event67 has neither and never will.
  • Catering, food-and-beverage management or banquet event orders are in scope. event67 has no catering capability of any kind.
  • You need room diagramming or floor plans. event67 has no diagramming, no floor plans and no wayfinding.
  • Event financials matter: accounting, invoicing and reporting against bookings are published Momentus capabilities. event67 raises no invoices.
  • You run a venue portfolio. Momentus's own pages describe users across thousands of venues in more than fifty countries (accessed 3 September 2026); event67 models events, not buildings.
  • You want ticketing from the same vendor. Momentus Ticketing is a published product line; event67 sells no tickets and takes no payment from attendees.

Five of those six are hard exclusions in event67 rather than roadmap items, and the sixth is a deliberate category decision. If two or more appear on your requirement list, this comparison is already settled and no attendee-app feature will unsettle it. We publish that list at this length because the alternative is a demo that ends on a missing-feature objection, which serves nobody.

Where event67 is the better choice

  • The delegate needs an app under the conference's own name. event67 publishes to the App Store and Google Play under the client's own listing.
  • You want a number before a sales conversation. event67's rate per activated attendee and its per-event ceiling are on the pricing page; Momentus's pricing page is quote-based (accessed 3 September 2026).
  • You want to try it on a real event first. event67 is free for one live event up to 50 activated attendees, with no card; Momentus records no free version or free trial (accessed 3 September 2026).
  • In-room engagement is the requirement: live Q&A with moderation, polls from the session screen, reactions, session feedback, a shared photo album and an attendee directory with QR connections.
  • You want billing tied to turnout. event67 counts only attendees who claimed an invite and opened the app, and charges 48 hours after the event ends.
  • You need it live in weeks without an implementation project or a data migration.

None of those is a criticism of a venue-operations system, which is not built to do any of them and is not sold to the person who wants them. They are simply the surface event67 covers. Where the two products end up in the same building, the normal outcome is both, with the venue system authoritative for the room and event67 authoritative for the delegate.

If you are adding event67 alongside, this is the shape of it

Very little of this is a switch, which is the honest headline. The venue system keeps doing what it does. You export the delegate list, import it into event67 by CSV, build the programme and the theme in the console, send bulk invites with per-recipient delivery tracking, and watch the live meter count activated attendees from the day the event is published. No historical data moves. No onboarding engagement is required to run one conference.

Two frictions are worth planning for rather than discovering. The first is authority over shared facts: room numbers and session times exist in both systems, there is no integration between them, and we have no relationship with the vendor, so someone must own the rule that the console is updated first. The second is the install — a branded app is a new download for every delegate, so the invite email, the Wallet pass and the on-site signage all have to point at it. Budget a communications pass for that and the rest is data entry.

Questions people actually ask

Which one should we buy?

If you operate the venue, Momentus is the category you are shopping in and event67 is not a candidate. If you produce the conference and the venue is somebody else's problem, event67 covers the delegate experience and Momentus is not sold to you. Where one organisation does both, the answer is usually both products, because neither one does the other's job in any partial form.

Which is cheaper?

We cannot answer that and any page that does is guessing. event67's price is published: free to 50 activated attendees, $5 each after that, and a single event stops at $4,750. As at 3 September 2026, Momentus Technologies (formerly Ungerboeck) does not publish list pricing and directs buyers to request a quote. With nothing to compare against, and with the two models measuring different things, a cost comparison would be invented rather than calculated.

Do the two integrate?

No. There is no integration, no partnership and no endorsement in either direction, and event67 is not affiliated with or authorised by Momentus Technologies. The join between them is a CSV export and import of the delegate list. That means someone has to own the job of keeping session times and room numbers in step, which on a large conference is a named responsibility rather than an assumption.

Can event67 run check-in for a convention centre?

It can scan an attendee's QR badge against your guest list and show a live arrivals count at the desk and in the console, with a repeat scan returning "already" rather than an error. What it cannot do is print a badge, drive a kiosk, read a wristband or take a payment. For a large hall with printed badge collection, event67 is one part of a door operation rather than the whole of it.

Does the app carry our name or event67's?

Yours. The mobile app goes into the App Store and Google Play under the client's own listing, and your logo, colours and typography run through every attendee screen. The theme editor checks each colour pair against WCAG AA and surfaces the result, warning and confirming without ever blocking a save. The trade-off is a fresh install for every delegate, which the invite email and on-site signage need to carry.
