Momentus Technologies alternative: event67 covers the attendee app, not the venue
Momentus Technologies is venue and event-operations software: space booking, catering, room diagramming, accounting and ticketing for convention centres, stadiums, arenas and campuses. event67 is a branded conference companion app with an organiser console. These overlap on exactly one surface — what a delegate holds in their hand — and this page is about that surface and nothing wider.

Why an attendee app and a venue system get compared at all
Momentus Technologies (Momentus Technologies and Ungerboeck are trademarks of Momentus Technologies) was formerly Ungerboeck; the rebrand was announced on 30 January 2023 from a St. Louis, Missouri dateline, and the company's own about page records that it followed the acquisitions of EventBooking, Priava, Showorks and Risk Manager (accessed 3 September 2026). Its published product line runs Momentus Enterprise, Momentus Elite, Momentus Ticketing, Momentus WeTrack and Momentus AI, covering venue booking and space management, sales and CRM for venue bookings, event planning and operations, catering and food-and-beverage management, room diagramming, event portals for clients and organisers, accounting, reporting and API access, and sustainability tracking (accessed 3 September 2026).
Read that list and the buyer becomes obvious: it is the venue, not the conference. The company's own pages describe convention and exhibition centres, stadiums and arenas, arts and culture centres, higher education and corporate campuses, with users across thousands of venues in more than fifty countries (accessed 3 September 2026). That is a different budget, a different signature and, usually, a different building from the one that buys a conference app.
So why does the comparison come up? Because both products end up in the same conversation about a single event, and because organisers reasonably assume that a system running the venue also runs the delegate's day. On the pages we loaded, we could not source an attendee-facing mobile event app in the Momentus line — the product surface we found is venue and event operations rather than an attendee-experience product (accessed 3 September 2026). We record that as not found rather than absent, because a page we did not load could say otherwise, and the right way to settle it is to ask them.
On cost, the models are not comparable and no table on this page tries to make them so. Momentus's own pricing page is quote-based, packaged by tier — Enterprise in Core, Pro and Premier, and Elite in Pro, Premier and Premier Plus — with the quote driven by venue count, annual event volume, workflow scope, integrations and onboarding and data-migration needs, and unlimited users included in every tier (accessed 3 September 2026). event67 charges the organiser per activated attendee with a published ceiling for one event. A quote shaped by how many venues you operate and a rate per person who opened an app are not the same unit of measurement.
What conference teams ask us for inside a big venue — event67's own opinion
This is our own opinion about the requests that reach us, and it asserts nothing about how any other product is built. Teams running a conference inside a venue that already has its own operations system tend to arrive with a tightly bounded list.
- An app named for the conference, not the venue
- Something live by next month, not next quarter
- A schedule delegates can filter by track
- Moderated questions before they hit the stage
- A number the finance team can approve
- No data-migration project for one conference
Taken against our own product record: the mobile app is published to the App Store and Google Play under the client's own listing, with the organiser's logo, colours and typography carried through every attendee screen. Set-up is self-serve — owners sign up with an email address and a password and build the event themselves, with no implementation engagement and no migration of historical data required to run one conference. The schedule is day by day and filterable, with tracks, speakers and rooms, updated live, and delegates star sessions into a personal agenda. Live Q&A is moderated by the organiser with upvoting, and approvals for photos and questions sit in the console. And the rate per activated attendee and the ceiling on a single event are printed on our pricing page, which is the artefact a finance approval actually needs.
Momentus Technologies and event67, row by row
Every cell in the Momentus Technologies column is quoted or summarised from a page we loaded ourselves, with the link and the date beside it. A row we could not source is not softened, it is removed. Momentus Technologies may change its pricing at any time; check Momentus Technologies's pricing page for current figures.

event67 meters activated attendees on a single event. Momentus Technologies's published model is quote-based — not published. The two are not the same unit, so the figures are not directly comparable.
Every event67 figure on this page is generated at build time from event67's own pricing library rather than typed into the page, so the page and the meter cannot disagree. event67 publishes no performance, capacity or throughput measurement on this page, and makes no comparative measurement of any other product.
All third-party names and trademarks are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification only. event67 is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any company named on this page. Comparison details are accurate as at the dates shown.
How event67 runs a 1,500-delegate conference in a hired hall
Assume the venue side is already handled — the hall is booked, the rooms are set, catering is ordered, and none of that is a thing event67 touches. What is left is the delegate's experience, and it starts with a list. Registration happens wherever it already happens; the resulting list imports into event67 by CSV and bulk invites go out with per-recipient delivery tracking. Invites are unlimited and never metered, so an over-inclusive list costs nothing at all.
The console then holds the programme: sessions, tracks, rooms, speakers and tier-ordered sponsor pages from Platinum down to Bronze, with logos, bios and websites. The theme editor sets logo, colours and typography, checking each colour pair against WCAG AA and surfacing the result; that check warns and confirms and never blocks a save. Roles separate super-admins, organisation admins and per-event moderators, which matters when a conference of this size has a moderation rota rather than one person.
Across three days, 1,500 delegates work from a live filterable schedule, build a personal agenda called My Picks, search an attendee directory by name or company, connect by scanning each other's QR codes in person or requesting a connection remotely, RSVP to workshops where capacity is enforced server-side with automatic waitlist promotion, ask questions in moderated live Q&A with upvoting, answer polls from the session screen, send crowd reactions during keynotes, rate sessions and route suggestions straight to the organiser, and add photos to a shared album with a full-screen viewer and auto-hide once a photo is reported. Apple Wallet passes are issued from the event record and refreshed by the backend while the conference runs, alongside an iOS Live Activity on the same dispatcher; passes require a signing certificate, so treat that as available rather than always on. Meanwhile the organiser watches arrivals against the guest list, approves photos and questions, publishes or schedules announcements that deep-link to the exact post, and reads engagement analytics — active attendees, funnels, top sessions — live rather than in a post-event report.
What the example costs, exactly: the price stops moving at 1,000 activated attendees, so a 1,500-delegate conference bills 950 attendees at $5 each — $4,750, the ceiling for one event. The 500 delegates above the cap cost nothing. These come out of event67's pricing library rather than being written into the page.
When Momentus Technologies is the better fit
If the problem you are solving is the venue's, this is not a close call and event67 is not a candidate. Space booking and management, sales and CRM against those bookings, room diagramming, catering and food-and-beverage management, event portals for clients and organisers, accounting, reporting and API access, ticketing and sustainability tracking are all published parts of the Momentus line (accessed 3 September 2026). event67 has none of them — not one. We do not book a room, schedule a resource, produce a banquet event order, raise an invoice or track a booking through a sales pipeline, and we are not going to.
The depth behind that matters too. This is a business built through the consolidation of EventBooking, Priava, Showorks and Risk Manager into a single system, with users across thousands of venues in more than fifty countries, serving convention and exhibition centres, stadiums and arenas, arts and culture venues, higher education and corporate campuses (accessed 3 September 2026). A multi-venue operator needs exactly that kind of vertical depth and the services organisation behind it, and event67 operates at nothing like that scale.
There is a second, narrower case for staying inside one system even where we could help. Where a single organisation both owns the building and runs the events in it, the cost of a second supplier is real — another contract, another set of logins, another list to keep in step — and consolidation may be worth more than the attendee-facing features it displaces. The company's pricing model is built for that shape of buyer: quote-based, packaged by tier, with unlimited users included and the quote driven by venue count, event volume, workflow scope, integrations and onboarding rather than by how many people log in (accessed 3 September 2026).
Our honest read is that the two products answer to different signatures far more often than they compete, and a page pretending otherwise would not survive contact with either buyer.
What event67 does not do
Published in full, and unusually load-bearing on this page because the neighbouring product does most of it. event67 has no:
- Venue or space booking of any kind
- Resource, room or equipment scheduling
- Catering, food-and-beverage management or banquet event orders
- Room diagramming, floor plans, venue maps or wayfinding
- Accounting, invoicing or event financials
- Sales CRM or pipeline management for bookings
- Attendee registration, ticketing or payment collection
- Onsite badge printing, kiosks or printer hardware
- Exhibitor lead retrieval and booth badge scanning
- In-app account deletion — deletion runs by email and a web page
Venue is not even a persona for us. It is a different product category, and we would rather write that sentence here than have it discovered by a facilities director halfway through a procurement.
What adding event67 actually involves
Decide what you are actually replacing
In most cases the answer is nothing. event67 sits beside a venue system rather than in place of it, so the venue's booking, catering and accounting workflows carry on untouched.
Get the delegate list out
Names, email addresses and any profile fields you want carried across. event67 imports from CSV, and the step needs no cooperation beyond a standard export from wherever registration lives.
Build the programme and the theme
Sessions, tracks, rooms, speakers and sponsors go into the console; logo, colours and typography go into the theme editor with its WCAG AA advisory. For a three-day, multi-track conference this is days of work, not a quarter.
Invite, then watch the meter
Bulk invites go out with per-recipient delivery tracking, and a live meter shows activated attendees from the day the event is published. Nothing is charged until 48 hours after the event has ended.
The awkward part is ownership rather than technology. Two systems means someone has to decide which one is authoritative for the delegate list and the session times, because a room change entered in the venue system does not appear in event67 by itself — there is no integration between the two products, and we have no relationship with the vendor. On a conference of this size that is a named job for one person and a habit of updating the console first. The other friction is the install, since an app under your own name is a fresh download for every delegate, which the invite email, the Wallet pass and the on-site signage all have to carry.

What it costs
- Free up to 50
- activated attendees, on one live event
- $5
- per activated attendee beyond 50
- $4,750
- the most one event can ever cost, whatever happens past 1,000
Activated means the person claimed their invite and opened the app. Not when you import them, not when the invite is delivered, and not if they register and stay home.
Questions people actually ask
Is event67 a replacement for Momentus Technologies?
No, and it would be wrong to suggest it. Momentus publishes venue booking and space management, sales and CRM, room diagramming, catering and food-and-beverage management, accounting and reporting, ticketing and sustainability tracking (accessed 3 September 2026). event67 has none of those. What event67 replaces is the attendee app and the organiser console around it. Most teams that use both keep the venue system exactly as it is.
How much does Momentus Technologies cost?
As at 3 September 2026, Momentus Technologies (formerly Ungerboeck) does not publish list pricing and directs buyers to request a quote. Its own pricing page describes quote-based pricing packaged by tier, with the quote driven by venue count, annual event volume, workflow scope, integrations and onboarding and data-migration needs, and unlimited users included in every tier (accessed 3 September 2026). The only public figure we found comes from a third-party directory rather than the vendor, so we do not repeat it.
Does Momentus have an attendee mobile app?
We could not source one. The product surface published on the pages we loaded is venue and event operations — booking, catering, diagramming, accounting, ticketing — rather than an attendee-experience product, and no attendee-facing mobile event app appeared on them (accessed 3 September 2026). We record that as not found rather than as absent, since a page we did not open could say otherwise. Ask them directly if it is decisive for you.
Can we trial event67 without raising a purchase order?
Yes. One live event, up to 50 activated attendees, with the whole feature set, the full branded theme and bulk invites, with no card and no trial clock. Momentus records no free version and no free trial, and its pricing page is quote-only with onboarding included in the contract (accessed 3 September 2026). The two evaluation paths are therefore quite different in shape, which is worth factoring into a timeline.
What would event67 cost for a 1,500-delegate conference?
$4,750. The first 50 activated attendees are free and each one after that is $5, but the price stops moving at 1,000 activated attendees, so a conference of this size reaches the per-event ceiling and the remaining delegates cost nothing. Activated means a delegate claimed their invite and then opened the app. The charge is raised 48 hours after the conference ends, and the amount is emailed before any card is charged.
Can event67 handle a multi-venue programme?
It can handle multiple events, but not multiple venues as an operational concept. The console is multi-tenant from day one with organisation-level administration, and a Season Pass buys a prepaid pool of attendee credits that pool across unlimited events. What it does not do is model a building, its spaces or its resources. If your programme is really a venue portfolio, that is a venue-operations problem and event67 is not the tool for it.
