event67 vs Map Your Show

The short version: Map Your Show is built around the exhibition floor and sells the show's exhibitor programme as well as running it, while event67 is a branded attendee app and organiser console for the conference programme, priced per activated attendee with a hard ceiling per event and no exhibition tooling whatsoever.

The line that separates the two

Map Your Show (Map Your Show is a trademark of Map Your Show) and event67 do overlap, and it is worth being precise about where. Both put a schedule and a personal agenda in an attendee's hand — theirs is My Show Planner inside the MYS Mobile App, ours is the live schedule with My Picks. Both push notifications. Both offer some form of attendee analytics. A delegate looking only at a session list would not necessarily know which product they were holding.

Everything either side of that overlap is different work. Map Your Show's published surface reaches down into the exhibition — Floor Builder, Booth Sales, the Exhibitor Resource Center, Smart Scan, Sales Accelerator — and up into the programme with Conference Management covering session scheduling and a call for papers (mapyourshow.com, accessed 3 September 2026). event67 reaches neither way. It has no exhibitor tooling of any kind and no submission or review workflow; it goes deeper instead into what happens inside a session and in the corridor outside it.

The second axis is how the thing is bought. Map Your Show publishes no pricing on its own site and routes to a demo or contact form (accessed 3 September 2026), so the number arrives through a conversation. event67's rate, its free tier and its per-event ceiling are on a page you can read at midnight without giving anyone an email address. Neither approach is wrong — a show that needs floor plans configured to its hall is buying something that genuinely has to be scoped — but it does change who this page is useful to. If you have an expo hall, stop reading and take the demo.

Side by side, with a source on every row

Everything in the Map Your Show column comes from a page we loaded ourselves. The superscript on a cell is its source: it links to that page and the date it was loaded, in the Sources section below. Nothing is inferred, and a row we could not source is removed rather than softened. Map Your Show may change its pricing at any time; check Map Your Show's pricing page for current figures.

event67 meters activated attendees on a single event. Map Your Show's published model is quote-based — not published. The two are not the same unit, so the figures are not directly comparable.

Every event67 figure on this page is generated at build time from event67's own pricing library rather than typed into the page, so the page and the meter cannot disagree. event67 publishes no performance, capacity or throughput measurement on this page, and makes no comparative measurement of any other product.

The same room, priced on each side

Both sides measured against the same 1,400-delegate programme. On the left, what that costs on event67, computed from our own pricing library rather than typed into this page. On the right, only what Map Your Show publishes itself.

Map Your Show

No seat field on this side, and no total. Working out what Map Your Show would charge for this room would mean estimating a number they have not published, and an estimate presented as a comparison is exactly the claim we will not make. What follows is only what Map Your Show states itself.

  • As at 3 September 2026, Map Your Show does not publish list pricing and directs buyers to request a quote.

Where Map Your Show is the stronger choice

  • You sell booths. Map Your Show publishes Floor Builder for interactive floor plans and booth assignment plus Booth Sales for exhibitor and sponsor sales; event67 has neither and never will.
  • You run an exhibitor programme with deadlines. Their Exhibitor Resource Center is an exhibitor portal; event67 has no portal and no exhibitor-facing surface at all.
  • Exhibitors expect leads. Smart Scan tracks attendee interactions and Sales Accelerator identifies leads for exhibitors; event67's QR is attendee-to-attendee networking and is not lead retrieval.
  • You run a call for papers. Their Conference Management covers session scheduling and a call for papers; event67 has no submission workflow, no peer review and no speaker portal.
  • You want the attendee app to earn revenue. Their mobile app page lists in-app advertising inventory (accessed 3 September 2026); event67 sells no inventory inside the app.
  • Peer references matter to your board. Their site names CES, InfoComm, AEM, NACS and WEFTEC and states 1.7 million trade show exhibitors served (accessed 3 September 2026).

Five of those six are hard exclusions in event67 rather than items on a roadmap, and we would rather you read them here than uncover them during implementation. If two or more apply to your event, the comparison is already settled.

Where event67 is the stronger choice

  • Your event has no exhibition hall. A conference with sessions, tracks and a sponsor tier does not need booth assignment, and event67 is priced as the smaller purchase it is.
  • You need a number before a call. event67's rate and per-event ceiling are published; as at 3 September 2026, Map Your Show does not publish list pricing and directs buyers to request a quote.
  • You want to run a real event free first. event67 gives one live event up to 50 activated attendees with the whole feature set and no card; Capterra's listing records no free version and no free trial for Map Your Show (accessed 3 September 2026).
  • The store listing has to be yours. event67 publishes to the App Store and Google Play under the organiser's own name; Map Your Show's mobile app page describes splash-screen and layout branding without confirming a separate store listing (accessed 3 September 2026).
  • You want depth inside the session. Live Q&A with upvoting and moderation, live polls, crowd reactions, session ratings, a shared moderated photo album and Apple Wallet passes are all standard in event67.
  • You want the bill tied to turnout. event67 counts only attendees who claimed an invite and opened the app, charges 48 hours after the event ends, and stops at a published ceiling for one event.

If you are moving, this is the shape of it

Export the delegate list, import it by CSV, rebuild sessions, tracks, rooms, speakers and sponsor tiers in the console, set the theme, send invites. The console's live meter counts activated attendees from the day the event is published, so the bill accrues in front of you rather than arriving as news. For a multi-track, multi-day programme the data entry is measured in days, not weeks.

Two things need planning rather than typing. The first is the install: a branded app is a fresh download for every delegate, so the invite email, the Wallet pass and the signage all have to point at the same place. The second is commercial. If any part of your sponsorship packages currently promises a floor-plan position, a searchable exhibitor listing or scanned leads, those promises cannot be carried across, and that conversation belongs with your sponsors before it belongs with us.

Questions people actually ask

Is event67 a replacement for Map Your Show?

Only for the conference half, and only where there is no exhibition. event67 does not replace floor plans, booth assignment, booth and sponsorship sales, the exhibitor portal, exhibitor lead tools or a call for papers, all of which Map Your Show publishes on its own site (accessed 3 September 2026). Where an organiser runs a delegate programme without a hall, event67 replaces the whole of what they were using and costs less to buy.

Which one is cheaper?

That question cannot be answered honestly from public information. event67's price is published: free to 50 activated attendees, $5 each after that, $4,750 maximum for one event. As at 3 September 2026, Map Your Show does not publish list pricing and directs buyers to request a quote, so there is no figure to compare against. Get their quote and put our published number beside it yourself.

Do both give attendees a personal agenda?

Yes, and this is the clearest overlap. Map Your Show publishes My Show Planner for attendee scheduling and personal agendas inside its mobile app, alongside exhibitor directory search, session scheduling and push notifications (accessed 3 September 2026). In event67 the equivalent is My Picks, which pins starred sessions to the top of an attendee's own day, with workshop RSVPs enforcing capacity server-side and promoting from the waitlist automatically.

Can exhibitors scan leads in event67?

No. Exhibitor lead retrieval, badge scanning and CRM synchronisation are confirmed absent from event67. Our QR code connects one attendee to another attendee, and describing it as lead capture would be inaccurate, so we do not. If your sponsorship packages include scanned leads, that is a requirement event67 cannot meet and a reason to look at a trade-show platform instead.

Which is the safer choice for a first-time organiser?

That is a judgement rather than a fact, so treat it as ours alone. We think a first-time organiser running a conference without a hall is better served by something they can start for free, price without a call and configure themselves. An organiser whose event is fundamentally an exposition will have a worse first show on event67 than on a platform built around the floor, however straightforward our console is to learn.
