Map Your Show alternative: event67, for the conference rather than the show floor
event67 is a branded conference companion app for iOS, Android and web with an organiser console behind it, charged per attendee who actually turns up and capped per event. Map Your Show is a trade-show platform built around the exhibition: booth sales, floor plans and the exhibitor programme, with an attendee app attached to it. Whether you should read past this paragraph depends almost entirely on whether your event has an expo hall.

One question settles most of this: is there an exhibition floor?
Map Your Show (Map Your Show is a trademark of Map Your Show) organises its published product around the show floor, and its own site says so plainly. The line-up includes Floor Builder for interactive floor plans and booth assignment, Booth Sales for exhibitor and sponsor sales, an Exhibitor Resource Center with deadline management, Sales Accelerator for identifying leads on behalf of exhibitors, Smart Scan for tracking attendee interactions, Conference Management covering session scheduling and a call for papers, MYS Insights for analytics, and the MYS Mobile App with floor navigation, exhibitor directory search, session scheduling, push notifications and in-app advertising inventory (mapyourshow.com and mapyourshow.com/trade-show-mobile-app, accessed 3 September 2026). The vendor's own site also states it has served 1.7 million trade show exhibitors and names references including CES, InfoComm, AEM, NACS and WEFTEC (accessed 3 September 2026).
Read that list back and notice how much of it is exhibitor-facing rather than delegate-facing. That is not a criticism; it is the design. An exposition organiser's revenue comes from the floor, and a platform that sells booths, assigns them, chases exhibitor deadlines and generates leads is doing the commercially important work.
So the honest test is your own event. If you sell booths, you want that machinery, and this page is a short read: nothing in event67 sells a booth, draws a floor plan or scans a lead, and we would rather you found that out in the first paragraph than in week three of an implementation. If your event is a conference — sessions, tracks, speakers, workshops, a sponsor tier or two, and no hall — then a trade-show operating system is a large purchase for the part of it you would actually use, and the comparison becomes worth having. The other thing people want on arrival is a number. Map Your Show publishes no pricing on its own site and routes buyers to a demo or contact form (accessed 3 September 2026), so a figure is only available by asking. Ours is on a page.
What conference organisers ask us for — event67's own opinion
This is our own view of the requests we field, offered as opinion and making no assertion about anyone else's product. We are obviously partial to our own software; read it that way.
- A price they can read without a call
- To change the agenda themselves, at midnight
- An app about sessions, not about booths
- Live Q&A and polls in every room
- A store listing under the conference's own name
- A cost ceiling that holds at any size
What event67 actually provides against each. The rate and the per-event ceiling are published on our pricing page and repeated in the strip on this one. Sessions, tracks, rooms, speakers and sponsors are edited directly in the console by whoever holds the role; roles cover super-admins, organisation admins and per-event moderators, so a track owner can be given exactly the reach they need. The attendee app is built around the programme: a live day-by-day schedule filtered by track, a personal agenda called My Picks, session detail with speaker bios and rooms, workshop RSVPs with server-side capacity and automatic waitlist promotion. Live Q&A with upvoting and organiser moderation, live polls from the session screen, crowd reactions and session ratings run in every room without a per-room licence. The app is published to the App Store and Google Play under the organiser's own listing. And the per-event charge stops at a fixed ceiling no matter how large the room turns out to be.
Map Your Show and event67, row by row
Every cell in the Map Your Show column is quoted or summarised from a page we loaded ourselves, with the link and the date beside it. A row we could not source is not softened, it is removed. Map Your Show may change its pricing at any time; check Map Your Show's pricing page for current figures.

event67 meters activated attendees on a single event. Map Your Show's published model is quote-based — not published. The two are not the same unit, so the figures are not directly comparable.
Every event67 figure on this page is generated at build time from event67's own pricing library rather than typed into the page, so the page and the meter cannot disagree. event67 publishes no performance, capacity or throughput measurement on this page, and makes no comparative measurement of any other product.
All third-party names and trademarks are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification only. event67 is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any company named on this page. Comparison details are accurate as at the dates shown.
How event67 runs a 1,400-delegate industry conference
Four tracks, three days, forty speakers, a dozen sponsors on tiers, and no exhibition hall. The organiser creates the event, imports the delegate list from CSV, sets logo, colours and typography in the theme editor and sends invites with per-recipient delivery tracking. Because invites are unlimited and never metered, the marketing list and the delegate list can be the same file without a cost consequence.
On site, delegates filter four tracks down to their own day, star sessions into My Picks, RSVP to capacity-limited workshops, scan each other's QR codes to connect, look each other up in the directory by name or company, upvote questions in moderated live Q&A, answer polls from the session screen, rate sessions and send suggestions straight to the organiser, and post to a shared photo album with moderation set to open, moderated or admin-only. Apple Wallet passes are issued from the event record and refreshed by the backend while the event runs. In the console the team scans arrivals against the guest list — a repeat scan returns 'already' rather than an error — clears approval queues, publishes announcements that deep-link to the exact post, runs email campaigns from branded templates, and reads engagement analytics live. Afterwards, the reports page archives every question, poll and photo.
The arithmetic at this size: the curve stops moving at 1,000 activated attendees, so 1,400 delegates costs the same as 1,000 — 950 billable attendees at $5 each, which is $4,750, the ceiling for one event. Delegates 1,001 through 1,400 cost nothing. The charge lands 48 hours after the event ends. Figures generated from event67's own pricing library rather than typed into this page.
When Map Your Show is the better fit
If you run an exposition, this is not a comparison — it is a category difference, and we lose it outright. Map Your Show publishes Floor Builder for interactive floor plans and booth assignment, Booth Sales for exhibitor and sponsor sales, an Exhibitor Resource Center for the exhibitor portal and deadline chasing, Smart Scan for attendee interaction tracking and Sales Accelerator for identifying leads on behalf of exhibitors (mapyourshow.com, accessed 3 September 2026). event67 has none of these, and they are hard exclusions rather than gaps we intend to close. There is no floor plan, no wayfinding, no booth inventory, no exhibitor portal and no lead retrieval anywhere in the product. Its mobile app also carries in-app advertising inventory (mapyourshow.com/trade-show-mobile-app, accessed 3 September 2026), which turns the attendee app into something an organiser can sell against rather than only pay for — a commercial argument we cannot answer at all.
The second reason is track record in a specific room. Map Your Show's own site names CES, InfoComm, AEM, NACS and WEFTEC among its references and states it has served 1.7 million trade show exhibitors, and CB Insights records the company as founded in 2005 and headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio (both accessed 3 September 2026). If you are a large North American show whose board wants to see peers on the client list before signing, that is precisely the credibility being bought, and event67 is a newer and much smaller vendor with no equivalent history in expositions. Its published surface also reaches further up the programme than ours does, covering session scheduling and a call for papers under Conference Management; event67 has no submission workflow, no peer review and no speaker portal of any kind.
What event67 does not do
The exclusions matter more on this page than on most, because several of them are the other product's core. None of the following exists in event67:
- Interactive floor plans, booth assignment and wayfinding
- Booth, sponsorship or advertising sales tooling
- An exhibitor portal or exhibitor deadline management
- Exhibitor lead retrieval, badge scanning and CRM sync
- Attendee registration, ticketing and payment collection
- Onsite badge printing, kiosks and printer hardware
- Call for papers, abstract review and speaker portals
- Virtual and hybrid streaming, breakouts and on-demand video
- AI matchmaking and a 1:1 meeting scheduler
- CEU, CME or PDH credit tracking and certificates
- In-app account deletion — handled by email and a web page
The QR code in event67 connects one attendee to another attendee. It is not lead capture for a stand, it does not sync to anyone's CRM, and we correct that assumption every time it surfaces on a call.
What a move would actually involve
Separate the show from the conference
Write down which parts of your event are exhibition and which are programme. If the exhibition column has anything in it, stop here — you are not switching, and the rest of this list will waste your time.
Export the delegate list
Name, email and whichever profile fields you want one delegate to see about another. event67 imports from CSV, and nothing in the step depends on the previous vendor beyond a standard export.
Rebuild the programme
Sessions, tracks, rooms, speakers and sponsor tiers go into the console. For a four-track, three-day agenda budget a day of data entry, then set the theme — the console checks each colour pair against WCAG AA and reports the result, warning and confirming rather than blocking the save.
Invite and watch the meter
Invites carry per-recipient delivery tracking. The console's live meter counts activated attendees from the day the event goes live, and the amount is emailed before any card is charged, 48 hours after the event ends.
The genuinely awkward part is the exhibitor conversation, not the data. If you have been selling exhibitors a listing in a searchable directory with a floor plan attached, moving to a product with sponsor pages and no floor plan changes what you are able to sell them. That is a revenue conversation before it is a software one, and it is the reason most shows should not make this move at all.
Sources
Each entry is a page a person loaded on the date shown. The specific claim each one supports sits beside that claim in the table above, so you can check any single row against its own source rather than against this list. Pricing and status are re-checked every 60 days; capability claims every 90.

What it costs
- Free up to 50
- activated attendees, on one live event
- $5
- per activated attendee beyond 50
- $4,750
- the most one event can ever cost, whatever happens past 1,000
Activated means the person claimed their invite and opened the app. Not when you import them, not when the invite is delivered, and not if they register and stay home.
Questions people actually ask
Does event67 have a floor plan or booth map?
No. Interactive floor plans, venue maps, wayfinding and booth assignment are confirmed absent from event67 and are not planned. If delegates need to navigate a hall, or exhibitors need to be placed on a grid and sold a position, event67 cannot do that part of the job. Conferences that use us typically have a handful of rooms named in the schedule rather than a hall to cross.
How much does Map Your Show cost?
As at 3 September 2026, Map Your Show does not publish list pricing and directs buyers to request a quote. Its own site routes to a demo or contact form rather than a price table, so the only reliable number is the one they give you. We will not estimate it, infer it from anywhere else, or put a range on this page. Map Your Show may change its pricing at any time; check its own site for current terms.
What does event67 cost for a 1,400-delegate conference?
$4,750, which is the ceiling for a single event. The first 50 activated attendees are free, each one after that is $5, and the curve stops at 1,000 activated attendees — so delegates 1,001 through 1,400 add nothing. Activated means the person claimed their invite and opened the app, not that you imported them or that an invite was delivered. Billing runs 48 hours after the event ends.
Can I get an app under my own name from either product?
event67 publishes the app to the App Store and Google Play under the organiser's own listing as standard. On the other side, Map Your Show's mobile app page offers branding and personalisation options such as splash screens and custom content layouts and describes the result as 'a customized extension of your show', but says nothing about a separate store listing under the organiser's own name (mapyourshow.com/trade-show-mobile-app, accessed 3 September 2026). We record that as unconfirmed rather than assuming either answer.
Is there a free tier or trial on either side?
event67 is free for one live event up to 50 activated attendees, with the whole feature set, the full branded theme and bulk invites, no card and no trial clock. For Map Your Show, Capterra's listing records no free version and no free trial, while Software Advice's profile flags a free version; the two directories disagree and neither is the vendor (both accessed 3 September 2026). We follow Capterra here and flag the conflict rather than resolving it on the vendor's behalf.
Can event67 handle a conference alongside a separate show-floor platform?
Yes, and some organisers do exactly that: the exhibition runs on whatever sells the booths, and event67 runs the conference programme for delegates. The handover is a CSV of attendees. We publish no integration with Map Your Show and claim no partnership, approval or affiliation of any kind — the two would simply be running side by side on the same event, sharing a file you export yourself.
