vFairs alternative: event67, with the price on the page

event67 is a branded conference app and organizer console charged per activated attendee, free for the first 50 and capped per event. vFairs is a broad event platform covering registration, badge printing, virtual environments and exhibitor tooling, with a white-labelled mobile app and no published prices.

Both sell a branded app; only one publishes a price

vFairs (vFairs is a trademark of its owner) is one of the more direct branded-app competitors in this category rather than a distant one, and it is worth saying that clearly at the top. Its pricing page markets a white-labelled mobile event app, and its homepage describes a fully branded app built through an app builder with custom content, branding elements and feature selection (accessed 3 September 2026). That is the same job event67 does, described in the same terms.

Where the two diverge first is not capability, it is how you find out what it costs. vFairs' pricing page publishes no figures. It states that you pay only for what your events actually need and routes to a demo booking, and Capterra records three named annual-licence tiers with no figures attached and no free trial or free version (accessed 3 September 2026). event67 publishes its rate, its free tier and its per-event ceiling on a page you can read at midnight without speaking to anyone.

The second divergence is scope, and it runs strongly the other way. vFairs publishes registration and ticketing with payment processing, badge printing and check-in including on-site instant printing and facial recognition, a virtual events platform with 3D immersive environments and exhibit halls, lead capture and exhibitor portals with booth scanning and lead scoring, speaker and abstract management with submission and review workflows, and 24/7 technical support with dedicated project managers (accessed 3 September 2026). event67 has none of those. This is a comparison where the honest answer for many readers is that the two products are not substitutes, and the table below is written to make that visible rather than to flatter us.

What organizers ask us for — event67's own opinion

Our own reading of our inbound conversations. It is opinion about what people want, not an assertion about any other product, from a party with an obvious interest.

  • A figure before a demo is booked
  • One conference, not an annual licence
  • Running a small event to test first
  • Paying for turnout, not for capacity
  • A branded listing without a project plan
  • A ceiling they can put in a budget

event67's answers, all from the product rather than the pitch. The rate is published and repeated in the strip below. There is no licence: an event is created, run and billed on its own, 48 hours after it ends. The free tier is one live event up to 50 activated attendees with the whole feature set and no card. Billing counts only attendees who claimed the invite and opened the app, so under-attendance costs nothing. The branded store listing is standard. And the ceiling for a single event is fixed at $4,750 whatever the room turns out to be.

vFairs and event67, row by row

Every cell in the vFairs column is quoted or summarised from a page we loaded ourselves, with the link and the date beside it. A row we could not source is not softened, it is removed. vFairs may change its pricing at any time; check vFairs's pricing page for current figures.

Branded app in the organizer's own store listingvFairs explicitly markets a 'white-labeled mobile event app' on its pricing page and a 'fully branded' app built through its app builder on the homepage, with custom content, branding elements and feature selection. Alongside Zuddl, this is the most direct branded-app competitor in this batch.vfairs.com, accessed 3 September 2026Standard on every event, including the free one. event67 meters activated attendees on a single event. vFairs's published model is quote-based — not published. The two are not the same unit, so the figures are not directly comparable.

Every event67 figure on this page is generated at build time from event67's own pricing library rather than typed into the page, so the page and the meter cannot disagree. event67 publishes no performance, capacity or throughput measurement on this page, and makes no comparative measurement of any other product.

A 1,400-delegate industry conference on event67

Registration and badges are somebody else's job. The list arrives by CSV, invites go out with per-recipient delivery tracking, and the console's live meter counts activations from the day the event is published.

In the room, delegates run a personal agenda across a multi-track schedule, RSVP into capacity-controlled workshops with server-side waitlist promotion, scan each other's QR codes to connect, browse the directory and send requests when they are not in the same room, upvote into moderated live Q&A, answer polls from the session screen, send crowd reactions during keynotes, rate sessions, and post into a shared photo album the organiser runs open, moderated or admin-only. Sponsors sit on tier-ordered pages from Platinum to Bronze. Apple Wallet passes are issued from the event record and refreshed while the event runs, with an iOS Live Activity on the same dispatcher. The organiser watches arrivals against the guest list, approves photos and questions, publishes deep-linking announcements and scheduled push, runs an audit-logged admin chat, sends themed branded email campaigns with tracked links, and reads engagement analytics live.

The bill: 1,400 activated attendees would be 1,350 billable at $5, but the per-event ceiling arrives first, so the event costs $4,750. Every delegate past the thousandth is free. Figures computed from event67's pricing library at build time.

When vFairs is the better fit

Whenever the event needs more than an app, which is often. vFairs publishes registration and ticketing with drag-and-drop form builders and payment processing; on-site instant badge printing, QR scanning and facial-recognition check-in; a virtual platform with 3D immersive environments, webinars and exhibit halls; exhibitor portals with booth scanning and lead scoring; and speaker and abstract management with submission and review workflows (accessed 3 September 2026). event67 has none of it. No checkout, no printers, no streaming, no booths, no abstracts. If two or more of those are on your requirement list, this is not a comparison, it is a category difference.

The support model is the other genuine advantage. vFairs publishes 24/7 technical support with dedicated project managers (vfairs.com, accessed 3 September 2026). event67 is a smaller vendor and cannot match a named project manager on a 24-hour rota. For a first-time organiser running a complex hybrid event, that difference is worth more than any feature on our side.

There is also a track-record dimension. vFairs states it has powered more than 50,000 events for over 100 million attendees and 100,000 exhibitors across more than ten years (vfairs.com, accessed 3 September 2026), and it carries a large public review base. A newer product cannot answer that in an enterprise procurement, and we would rather say so than pretend the asymmetry does not exist.

What event67 does not do

The full exclusion list, which on this comparison is most of the difference:

  • Attendee registration, ticketing and payment collection
  • Onsite badge printing, kiosks, check-in hardware and facial recognition
  • Virtual and hybrid streaming, webinars, 3D environments and exhibit halls
  • Exhibitor portals, booth scanning, lead capture and lead scoring
  • Speaker and abstract submission, review workflows and speaker portals
  • Interactive floor plans, venue maps and wayfinding
  • AI matchmaking and a 1:1 meeting scheduler
  • CEU, CME or PDH credit tracking and certificates
  • 24/7 support with a dedicated project manager
  • In-app account deletion — deletion runs by email and a web page

What switching actually involves

  1. Test the scope first, in one sentence

Write down what your event needs that is not the app. If that sentence mentions registration, badges, booths, streaming or abstracts, event67 is at most part of the answer and you should size the move accordingly.

  2. Prove it on a small event

The free tier covers one live event up to 50 activated attendees with the full feature set and the full branded theme, no card. An internal or regional meeting is a real test rather than a sandbox demo.

  3. Import and rebuild

Attendee list by CSV, then sessions, tracks, rooms, speakers and tier-ordered sponsors in the console. Workshop capacities and waitlists are enforced server-side.

  4. Theme, publish, watch the meter

Logo, colours and typography flow through every screen with a WCAG AA contrast advisory that warns and confirms without blocking a save. The live meter shows activated attendees from publication day; the charge lands 48 hours after the event ends.

The honest constraint is the one we cannot design around: you would be trading a broad platform with a 24/7 support rota for a narrower product with a smaller team. If your event has a single point of failure at the registration desk, that trade is a bad one and no amount of app quality fixes it.

Questions people actually ask

How much does vFairs cost?

As at 3 September 2026, vFairs does not publish list pricing and directs buyers to request a quote. Its pricing page states that you pay only for what your events actually need and routes to a demo booking, and Capterra records three named annual-licence tiers with contact-vendor pricing. We will not estimate a figure. vFairs may change its pricing; check its own pricing page for current terms.

Does vFairs offer a white-label app?

Yes, by its own description. Its pricing page markets a white-labelled mobile event app, and its homepage describes a fully branded app built through an app builder with custom content, branding elements and feature selection (accessed 3 September 2026). No price or lead time for it is published. event67 publishes the branded app to both stores under the client's own listing as standard, with no separate charge.

Is there a free trial of vFairs?

Capterra records no free trial and no free version for vFairs, with evaluation through a booked demo with the sales team (accessed 3 September 2026). event67's free tier is one live event up to 50 activated attendees with the whole feature set, the full branded theme and bulk invites, with no card and no trial clock.

What does event67 cost for 1,400 delegates?

$4,750. The first 50 activated attendees are free and each further one is $5, but the total for a single event stops at $4,750, which is reached at 1,000 activated attendees. Every delegate past that costs nothing. Activated means the person claimed their invite and opened the app, not that they were imported or invited.

Can event67 run a hybrid event?

Not the virtual half. event67 has no streaming, no webinars, no virtual booths and no on-demand library, confirmed by search across the codebase on 3 September 2026. There is a browser event site so people can reach the schedule, speakers and forms without installing anything, but that is not a virtual event platform and we will not present it as one.

Does event67 have exhibitor lead capture?

No. event67's QR is attendee-to-attendee networking: one delegate scans another to connect. It is not booth scanning, not lead retrieval and not lead scoring, and conflating the two would be a misrepresentation of what the product does. vFairs publishes exhibitor portals with booth scanning and lead scoring (accessed 3 September 2026).
