Bizzabo alternative: event67 for the app, without the marketing platform
event67 is a branded conference app and organizer console charged per activated attendee, free for the first 50 and capped per event. Bizzabo is a B2B event marketing platform sold as a per-user annual subscription with a three-user minimum, and it publishes its price.

One is a marketing platform; one is an app
Bizzabo (Bizzabo and Klik are trademarks of Bizzabo, Inc.) publishes registration and ticketing with contact management, an event website builder and email campaign tooling, a branded mobile event app as part of the core offering, Klik SmartBadge networking wearables priced separately, onsite check-in and live streaming, AI-assisted networking and matchmaking with an attendee copilot, and real-time analytics with Salesforce and marketing-automation integrations (accessed 3 September 2026). That is an event marketing stack, and it is sold to the team that owns demand generation.
event67 is an attendee app and the console that runs it. It has no website builder, no email campaign tooling aimed at prospects, no CRM integration, no matchmaking and no wearables. It has a schedule, networking, live engagement and analytics for the people who are already in the room. So the two overlap on the app and diverge everywhere else, which makes the choice mostly a question of who inside your organisation is buying.
Bizzabo also publishes its pricing, which is unusual here and worth crediting. Its pricing page states a per-user monthly figure billed annually with a three-user minimum, and an annual figure for the same plan, with Klik SmartBadge quote-based and the vendor stating that there are no single-event purchases of the core platform (accessed 3 September 2026). That last clause is the one to read twice if you run one conference a year: the platform is an annual commitment, and a single event is not a purchasable unit.
What organizers ask us for — event67's own opinion
Our own reading of the conversations we have. Opinion, about what people want rather than about anyone else's product, from a party that sells one of the two.
- Buying one event, not a year
- No seat minimum for a small team
- Paying only for people who attended
- Configuration a two-person team can hold
- Engagement features inside the base price
- Trying it before any commitment
event67's answers. There is no subscription and no seat minimum: an event is created, run and billed on its own, 48 hours after it ends. Billing counts activated attendees only, so a room that lands smaller than forecast costs less rather than the same. Live Q&A, polls, reactions, the shared photo album, chat with reactions, replies and delivery ticks, Wallet passes, campaigns, forms and tracked links are all in the base product. The console is one product rather than a platform with modules. And the free tier is a real live event up to 50 activated attendees, no card, no clock.

| Branded app in the organizer's own store listing | A third-party listing describes 'a branded mobile app' as part of the core offering, but we could not source a vendor statement clarifying whether that means an organizer-branded experience inside a Bizzabo container app or a standalone app published under the organizer's own developer account.getapp.com/website-ecommerce-software/a/bizzabo, accessed 3 September 2026 | Standard on every event, including the free one. event67 meters activated attendees on a single event. Bizzabo's published model is per-user annual subscription with a three-user minimum; core platform price is published, hardware and add-ons are quote-based. The two are not the same unit, so the figures are not directly comparable.
Every event67 figure on this page is generated at build time from event67's own pricing library rather than typed into the page, so the page and the meter cannot disagree. event67 publishes no performance, capacity or throughput measurement on this page, and makes no comparative measurement of any other product.

A 480-person customer conference on event67
Registration and the marketing funnel stay where they are. The attendee list arrives by CSV, invites go out with per-recipient delivery tracking, and the live meter counts activations from publication day.
Delegates build a personal agenda from a multi-track schedule, RSVP into capacity-controlled breakouts with server-side waitlist promotion, scan each other's QR codes to connect or browse the directory and request, upvote questions into moderated live Q&A, answer polls from the session screen, send crowd reactions during the keynote, rate sessions, and post to a shared photo album run open, moderated or admin-only. Sponsors appear on tier-ordered pages. Apple Wallet passes are issued from the event record and refreshed while the event runs. The organiser watches arrivals against the guest list, approves questions and photos, publishes deep-linking announcements and scheduled push, runs an audit-logged admin chat with the AV team, sends themed branded email to attendees with tracked links, and reads active attendees, funnels and top sessions live.
The bill: 480 activated attendees, less the 50 that are free, is 430 billable at $5 — $2,150 for the event. If 380 turn up instead of 480, it is $1,650, because the meter follows attendance. Figures computed from event67's pricing library at build time.
When Bizzabo is the better fit
When events are a channel rather than a project. Bizzabo publishes registration and ticketing with contact management, an event website builder, email campaign tooling, and real-time analytics with Salesforce and marketing-automation integrations (accessed 3 September 2026). For a B2B marketing team that measures events against pipeline, the integration surface is the product and the app is a component of it. event67 has no CRM connector, no website builder and no campaign tooling aimed at prospects, so buying the app separately leaves someone to reconcile the data by hand.
The onsite and hardware layer is the second reason. Bizzabo publishes Klik SmartBadge networking wearables with single and multi-event pricing available by quote, plus onsite check-in and live streaming (accessed 3 September 2026). event67 has no wearables, no badge printing, no check-in hardware and no streaming. Those are hard exclusions on our side.
Third, and we would rather write it than have it discovered: track record. event67 is the newer product and has the shorter public track record of the two. Against an established one, that is a credibility difference and not only a feature difference. Where a purchase has to survive a procurement committee and a reference check, it tends to be decisive.
What event67 does not do
In full, because on this comparison the exclusions are the shape of the decision:
- Attendee registration, ticketing and payment collection
- Event website builder and prospect email campaigns
- CRM and marketing-automation integrations, and a public API programme
- Networking wearables and any hardware at all
- Onsite badge printing, kiosks and check-in hardware
- Live streaming and on-demand video
- AI matchmaking, meeting scheduling and an attendee copilot
- Call for papers, abstract review and speaker portals
- Single sign-on and approval workflows
- In-app account deletion — deletion runs by email and a web page
What running the app separately involves
Name the buyer
If marketing owns the budget and measures pipeline, a platform is the coherent purchase and this move will fight the org chart. If the events team owns it and reports on attendance and engagement, the app alone is a clean fit.
Keep registration where it is
event67 becomes a downstream consumer of the attendee list rather than the system of record. Agree that in writing before anyone builds anything, because two systems of record is the failure mode here.
Import and rebuild
CSV import, then sessions, tracks, rooms, speakers and tier-ordered sponsors in the console. Breakout capacities and waitlists are enforced server-side.
Theme, prove, publish
Logo, colours and typography flow through every screen with a WCAG AA contrast advisory that warns and confirms without blocking. Run the free 50-attendee tier on an internal event first.
The awkward part is attribution. Engagement analytics and session ratings live in event67 and leave as an export, with no connector into a CRM. If your event programme is scored inside a marketing system, that join becomes somebody's manual job every quarter, and it should be priced into the decision.

What it costs
- Free up to 50
- activated attendees, on one live event
- $5
- per activated attendee beyond 50
- $4,750
- the most one event can ever cost, whatever happens past 1,000
Activated means the person claimed their invite and opened the app. Not when you import them, not when the invite is delivered, and not if they register and stay home.
Questions people actually ask
How much does Bizzabo cost?
Bizzabo publishes its core platform price on its own pricing page: a per-user monthly figure billed annually with a three-user minimum, and an annual figure for the same plan. Klik SmartBadge is quote-based, and the page states there are no single-event purchases of the core platform (accessed 3 September 2026). The table on this page carries the figures with the source and date. Bizzabo may change its pricing; check its pricing page for current figures.
Can I buy Bizzabo for one event?
Not the core platform, by the vendor's own statement: its pricing page says there are no single-event purchases and the subscription is annual (accessed 3 September 2026). event67 is the opposite shape — there is no subscription at all, and an event is created, run and billed on its own, 48 hours after it ends.
Does Bizzabo include a branded app?
A third-party listing describes a branded mobile app as part of the core offering (accessed 3 September 2026). We could not source a vendor statement clarifying whether that means organiser branding inside a Bizzabo container app or a standalone app published under the organiser's own developer account, so we record it as unverified rather than claiming either. event67 publishes to both stores under the client's own listing.
What does event67 cost for a 480-person conference?
$2,150. The first 50 activated attendees are free and the remaining 430 are $5 each. A single event never exceeds $4,750. Because the meter counts people who claimed the invite and opened the app, a room that lands smaller than forecast costs less rather than the same, and unopened invites are never billed.
Is there a free tier?
On event67, yes: one live event up to 50 activated attendees with the whole feature set, the full branded theme and bulk invites, no card and no trial clock. On Bizzabo, no free tier or free trial is mentioned on the vendor pricing page, and a directory listing records no free trial and no free version (accessed 3 September 2026).
Does event67 do matchmaking?
No. event67 has an attendee directory searchable by name or company and QR connections between attendees, and that is all. There is no AI matchmaking and no 1:1 meeting scheduler, confirmed by search across the codebase on 3 September 2026. Bizzabo publishes AI-assisted networking and matchmaking. A directory plus QR is not matchmaking and we will not describe it as such.
