What is event management software?
Event management software is a platform that covers several stages of running an event in one product — typically registration and ticketing, onsite check-in and badging, an attendee app, and often exhibitor and sponsor tooling.
event management software in detail
Also written as event platform, event management system, full suite.
Event management software is the broad, expensive half of this market: one platform covering several stages of an event’s lifecycle rather than one stage well.
In practice at an event
A full suite typically covers registration and ticketing with payment processing, an event website builder, email campaigns, onsite check-in and badge printing, an attendee mobile app, exhibitor and sponsor management with lead capture, and often virtual or hybrid streaming as a paid add-on.
The appeal is a single contract, a single support relationship and data that does not have to be moved between systems. The cost is that you pay for the parts you do not use, and switching later means switching everything at once.
What to look for
Published entry prices for suites sit substantially above attendee apps, and several suites publish no price at all and route buyers to a demo. Budget two to three weeks between first contact and a number you can put in a spreadsheet.
The decision is genuinely binary and worth making explicitly. If you already have registration you intend to keep, a suite means paying again for it.
Where event67 stands
event67 is not event management software in this sense, and does not describe itself as such. It is an attendee app with an organizer console. Registration, ticketing, payments, badge printing, exhibitor lead retrieval, streaming and floor plans are all outside it.
That boundary is why it costs what it does. If you need the suite, one of the suites is the right answer and event67 is not, and the fastest way to establish which you need is to ask whether you already have registration.

Activated means the person claimed their invite and opened the app. Not when you import them, not when the invite is delivered, and not if they register and stay home.
